The Project Process… with you every step of the way

As educational professionals, we will guide you through the process to ensure the solution is right for you. We work with you giving ideas and practical help throughout the implementation process to ensure the solution is tailored towards your specific needs. We pride ourselves in the highest standard of client care to help you reach your online learning goals.

Our approach has been tried and tested and our team have been involved in the production of over 2000 hours of learning resources, here’s how we do it, depending on what services you need.

Consultancy

The start of the process is a consultation with one of our educational specialists to ensure the solution is right for you and your intended audience. Due to the educational background of Indegu, the appropriateness of the project is very close to our hearts.

Subject content

We will either work with you to convert content you may already have and make it ready for online delivery, or we can supply a subject specialist who will write the material for you. Content and any assessment material (if required) will be produced and checked by you prior to production starting.

Review

Once content is written it will be reviewed by a qualified teacher who has no subject knowledge of the area they are looking at. This not only checks flow and general readability and relevance of the content, but also level appropriateness. This is particularly important for online learning where there is no face-to-face tutor to guide the learner through the content.

Resource production

Firstly, the creation of a theme is designed for your project, which is usually based on your organisation branding. Once agreed, this theme will form the basis for the overall look of the resources being developed. Our team of specialists (graphic designers, illustrators, instructional designers) have many years’ experience in designing resources for online learning as well as an understanding of learning pedagogy.

The production process varies for each project dependent on what is required, for example photography, videography, illustration and audio requirements, or it may be simple functional interactive eLearning utilising stock images.

Quality Assurance

Indegu uses an independent quality assurer to check and test the resources for spelling and grammar errors as well as technical difficulties. Resources are tested on a variety of platforms and operating systems. Following this procedure, the resources will be passed to the client for the final sign off.

Evaluation and monitoring

We work with you to ensure that any feedback is addressed to and establish the overall effectiveness of learning resource(s). Any findings are discussed and with collaboration appropriately addressed to facilitate continuous improvement. This could start with testing with a small cohort prior to project launch, to quarterly reviews to evaluate effectiveness.
